INFORMATION ABOUT BARRY PITTARD:

Barry Pittard is an ex-devotee of the Indian Guru Sathya Sai Baba and followed the Guru from 1976 – 1999. During his devotee phase, Barry Pittard eulogized Sathya Sai Baba as God Incarnate and the Avatar of the Age.

Barry Pittard is:

1. An extensively self-solicited & self-appointed critic of Sathya Sai Baba on the internet.
2. A main spokesperson for the Anti-Sai Movement.
3. An alleged “International Coordinator” for the Anti-Sai Movement.
4. The head of “media relations” for the bogus F.D.S.S.B. (Former Devotees Of Sathya Sai Baba) “Global Coalition”.
5. A free-press-release junkie who released his full contact details (including phone number, address and email address) on numerous free “press release” websites.
6. An obsessive propagandist who has sent thousands of Anti-Baba emails to an entire spectrum of individuals all around the world.
7. A smear-tactic-extraordinaire who obsessively accuses Sathya Sai Baba of being a raping, killing and homosexual serial pedophile who runs “elite pedophile rings” and people trafficking rings throughout the world (although no independent media or legal organizations have ever confirmed or implicated Sathya Sai Baba or the Sai Organisation in any illegal activities)!
8. An inciter of violence against Sathya Sai Baba, Sai Devotees and Jews.
9. An online & offline stalker of various Sai Devotees, making ridiculous “pedophile ring” accusations (yes, apparently a Sai Devotee is running a “pedophile ring” in a security-laden building in New York!) and outing people as homosexuals.

IS BARRY PITTARD A ‘PROFESSOR’?

Joan Radha Bridges released an official trailer for the Shadow of the Guru documentary on YouTube (Ref) that dishonestly and fraudulently described Barry Pittard as a “Professor”. Prior to the Shadow of the Guru website, Barry Pittard never referred to himself as a “Professor” and never divulged any alleged credentials he may possess that would entitle him the status of “Professor”.

Barry Pittard allegedly taught English at the Whitefield campus in India between 1978-79 (which Pittard cannot objectively substantiate with any kind of verifiable documentation). In 1978-79, the Whitefield campus belonged to the Bangalore University in Karnakata and only offered undergraduate classes. Barry Pittard taught (allegedly) at that campus before it became associated with Sathya Sai Baba’s name and before it became a prestigious University. Barry Pittard was not required to have academic credentials to teach at that Whitefield campus (the only qualification being that he could speak English) and he was unpaid and regarded as a volunteer.

On the Shadow of the Guru website, Barry Pittard’s profile states:

Barry Pittard: “Was deeply devoted to Sai Baba – who is arguably the most powerful Indian guru in history – for 25 years. At his behest, and as an unpaid service, taught all three years intake in the Humanities degree course at the Sathya Sai College at Whitefield, via Bangalore, South India for most of 1977-1978.”

Needless to say, from 1999 – 2010, Barry Pittard never claimed that he taught a “humanities degree course” at the Whitefield campus. This is new information. Barry Pittard repeatedly claimed that he taught English at the Whitefield campus for two years, not “three years” (as erroneously alleged on the Shadow of the Guru website). 1977 + 1978 = 2 years at the most. It is also significant to note that despite Barry Pittard’s claim of teaching a “humanities degree course”, the Whitefield campus only offered undergraduate classes at that time (Ref).

BARRY PITTARD & SATHYA SAI BABA’S POWERS:

Amusingly, Barry Pittard still believes (even after his defection from the Sai Movement) that Sathya Sai Baba possesses genuine paranormal powers:

Barry Pittard: “From November 1975, I began to experience many profound and beautiful phenomena. Wherever I travelled in the world, they manifested far away from, yet were often clearly related to, his physical presence on the planet. By November 26,1977, I first caught sight of him. I had mentally prayed, telling no one else, that on my arrival in Puttaparthy, he would come right up from wherever he was and personally greet me. I had just arrived when he mounted the stage, about to speak. I sat next to a well known Sai Baba devotee and friend Nanda Kishore of Arsenal, London and other men from the Russell Square Sai Baba centre to which we belonged. Sai Baba was about to speak into the microphone. He looked across a gap of two or more hundred yards, stopped what he was doing, crossed the broad stage, looking at me most of the time, then did something I have never in hundreds of public appearances seen him do. He abandoned security, and still maintaining – unmistakably – eye to eye contact with me, walked right into the crowds of seated men and made a track right to me and stood for a long time with his hand on my head in blessing. He certainly seemed to say, ‘Hullo Barry,’ exactly as he had done in a dream in London around June 1976, but I could have been mistaken because singing was taking place. I have had thousands of experiences that transcend scientific or intellectual explanation. Although he undoubtedly fakes miracles, plagiarizes the sayings of others, and makes many mistakes in his predictions and in his statements about history, my opinion differs from a few of my esteemed colleagues among his former followers. I have many times experienced supranormal phenomena related to him, which there is no explaining away. Unlike countless devotees and former devotees, I do not think that he DOES these phenomena as such. I think that some principle that we have not yet scientifically understood is at work, as it were THROUGH him, and, beyond, in connection with him. I also think that there needs to be unbiased enquiry into some of the implications of these powers (which relate to him whether the recipient is in or even far beyond his physical presence). Their sheer magnitude round the globe is bound to attract history’s final verdict that they are real, and do happen. (I have, by the way, found many rationalists and sceptics just as biased as many religionists). The world may have a degree of trouble on its hands. That powers of such profound beauty and outreach can mask and co-extend with deeds so heinous is surely of especial concern. Barry Pittard: “A whole series of incidents which go far, far beyond the realm of coincidence. The first was in November 1975. I felt a powerful ‘inner knowing’ that I had to go into a book shop. BARRY PITTARD’S SMEAR CAMPAIGNS EXPOSED:

Barry Pittard never (ever) witnessed a single incident of alleged abuse by Sathya Sai Baba. Nor was Barry Pittard ever sexually abused by Sathya Sai Baba. Therefore, why does Barry Pittard appoint himself as a proxy defender of alleged victims? Are alleged victims incompetent? Are alleged victim’s mothers and fathers incompetent as well? Not even one alleged victim and not even one alleged victim’s mother or father has even tried to file a basic police complaint or court case against Sathya Sai Baba in India (Ref).

The big question that Barry Pittard and other critics continually ignore is:

WHY should the Sai Organisation resort to the legalistic process of “mandated reporting” regarding internet rumors when all of the alleged victims (without exception) and all of their mothers, fathers and relatives (without exception) have all failed and refused to resort to the legalistic process of “mandated reporting” themselves against the Sai Organisation?

Barry Pittard’s argument is reverse logic. Instead of harping on the legal and moral duties of the Sai Organisation, he should be focusing on the legal and moral duties of alleged victims and their mothers and fathers (all of whom have never filed any sort of legalistic complaints in India against Sathya Sai Baba).

Needless to say, Barry Pittard has a long and established history of distortions, lies, defamations and libels.

• Barry Pittard is a malicious propagator of Robert Priddy’s falsified and fraudulent “sexual molestation” libels against Gerald Joe Moreno. Barry Pittard also endorses and allies himself with Reinier van der Sandt, the ExBaba webmaster who has libeled Gerald Joe Moreno as being sexually abused by Sathya Sai Baba. If Barry Pittard endorses and supports falsified and fraudulent “sexual molestation” libels against Gerald Joe Moreno, what other falsified and fraudulent “sexual molestation” libels is he peddling on Anti-Baba websites and on his Anti-Baba blog against Sathya Sai Baba?
• Barry Pittard is a questionable individual who has been accused of inappropriately touching women and girls under the pretext of spiritual healings (which is perhaps how he fathered his son with a 21-year old girl when he was old enough to be her grandfather!).
• Barry Pittard is an Anti-Baba fanatic who attempted to incite Islamic terrorists against Sathya Sai Baba, Sai Devotees and Jews. Barry Pittard seems unable to adequately disassociate himself from various people who are Anti-Semitic and even attacked Rabbi Zeller on the internet.
• Barry Pittard has so much contempt for his son Sai Isa (who bears Sathya Sai Baba’s name), Barry Pittard published his very first public picture with Sai Isa sitting on his lap!
• Barry Pittard is a Pseudo-Moralist Clown who loves to attack others for making composite images while endorsing and publishing composite images himself!
• Despite Barry Pittard’s ceaseless blathering about Sathya Sai Baba being a ‘fraud’, Barry Pittard still believes (to this day and after his defection) that Sathya Sai Baba possesses genuine paranormal powers.
• Barry Pittard has revealed himself to be a an internet bully, hypocrite and online/offline stalker who is so obsessed with Sathya Sai Baba, he actually writes songs trashing and bashing the Guru although he alleges he never ‘slurs’ (Ref)!
• Barry Pittard even accused Alaya Rahm’s lawyer of incompetence although the anonymous ‘international lawyers from three countries’ (with which Pittard claims intimate association) couldn’t help Alaya Rahm one bit with his legal case!
• Barry Pittard purposely and knowingly leaves out relevant information regarding Alaya Rahm and the Secret Swami documentary because this information would severely compromise his views and arguments against Sathya Sai Baba. Barry Pittard ceaselessly references the Secret Swami Documentary although Alaya Rahm self-disclosed (in official court records) that he was a college drop-out and a decade-long daily-user of illegal street drugs and alcohol seeking a large money settlement from the Sathya Sai Baba Society Of America! The end result of Alaya’s court case: Self-Dismissed With Prejudice.
• Barry Pittard blatantly lied about there being over a hundred sworn affidavits against Sathya Sai Baba filed with the FBI.
• Barry Pittard blatantly lied about the US State Department naming Sathya Sai Baba ‘re pedophile allegations’.
• Barry Pittard is notorious for taking off-topic articles and attempting to associate them with Sathya Sai Baba as he did with his Pamela Stephenson article, his article on Susan Boyle, his misleading article about a Judge’s ruling on a pervert and his misleading article about Tim Sullivan.
• Even going back to 2001, Anti-Sai sympathizers rightly questioned Barry Pittard about the hearsay allegations against Sathya Sai Baba (Ref).
• Barry Pittard claimed that everyone in India suffers from corruption and co-authored an article with Robert Priddy that trashed and bashed hundreds of millions of Hindus by claiming that their scriptures are believed by “ignorant peasants” who are “backward intellectually”.
• The list goes on and on.

Of course, none of these things are surprising considering that Barry Pittard is allied with Bisexual & Psychic Trance Medium Conny Larsson and Child Porn Purveyor RFJ Sandt, Pathological Liar Robert Priddy and Perverted Fetishist Sanjay Dadlani. Barry Pittard is also a staunch promoter of New Age Advocate & Reincarnator Alan Kazlev and Guru & UFO Promoter Timothy Conway (who actually believes that Sathya Sai Baba may have molested alleged victims like aliens are alleged to do through abductions!).

BARRY PITTARD’S SECRECY & CONFIDENTIALITY PLOYS:

Barry Pittard continually attempts to con the general public by making all sorts of criminal, unsubstantiated and unverifiable allegations against Sathya Sai Baba and then masks his attacks with “secrecy” and “confidentiality” ploys. For example, Barry Pittard can often be seen saying things like:

Barry Pittard: “Responsible and non-sensationalist Media, institutions and other bona fide investigators or enquirers can contact me…we are strongly safeguarding the details of the vast majority who wished their harrowing accounts not to be made public – or in some cases not unless there were bona fide court or governmental or institutional investigations.”

All of the negative media against Sathya Sai Baba was the result of critic’s behind-the-scenes subterfuge, unremitting propaganda and “e-bombing campaigns”. Critics (including Barry Pittard) even boasted on Anti-Sai websites how they were responsible for and involved with various negative media exposures against Sathya Sai Baba. This holds true for The Secret Swami, The Divine Downfall Interview, The Seduced Program, The Unesco Withdrawal, The U.S. State Dept. Warning, The Guardian Article By Paul Lewis, Michelle Goldberg’s Salon.com Article, India Today, NineMSN Channel 9, etc., etc., etc.

Consequently, Barry Pittard had every opportunity to provide his alleged “secret” and “confidential” evidence and/or testimonies to various media and independent journalists sympathetic with his cause. Despite this irrefutable fact, no media and no journalist has ever documented or confirmed a single case of alleged pedophilia, murder or human trafficking against Sathya Sai Baba or the Sai Organization. Nor have any legitimate court cases been filed against the Guru first-hand by any alleged victim in India.

Because alleged victims (and their mothers and fathers) have all (without exception) refused to file basic police complaints, court cases or public grievances in India against Sathya Sai Baba (strongly suggesting that no children were ever abused), Barry Pittard is now resorting to “confidentiality” and “secrecy” ploys so he will not be held publicly accountable for his disinformation, defamations and libels against Sathya Sai Baba and others.

The only people guilty of running “massive disinformation and cover-up campaigns” are Barry Pittard and Ex-Devotees who have attacked hundreds of Sai Devotees & Non-Devotees alike and who have created hundreds of webpages to defame, libel and smear Gerald Joe Moreno and hundreds of webpages to defame, libel and smear Sathya Sai Baba.

The Shadow of the Guru film apparently needs to resort to deceit in order to bolster the perceived credibility of Barry Pittard, a man who has proven himself (time and again) to be thoroughly obsessed with Sathya Sai baba and a pathological prevaricator.

It is also unknown who interviewed and filmed Barry Pittard in Australia and who footed the bill.

Joan Radha Bridges is so devoted to Jade Sol Luna’s dark philosophy, she actually hosted a seminar for him in her house in Atlanta and allowed him to worship her Goddess statue there. On Joan Radha Bridges’ MySpace page (which is now set to private), she referred to Jade Sol Luna as her “teacher” and claims to follow the dark path of “La Sera”, which means “The Left Hand of Wicca”. Jade Sol Luna made a CD entitled “La Sera” and his visual depiction for that path is clearly Satanic:

La Sera is based on what Jade Sol Luna calls “Nirrtibhava Tantra” (Nirrti being the Hindu Goddess of death and corruption) that is associated with the fierce Goddess Kalika Devi. Even more disturbing are pictures of Joan Radha Bridges engaged in tantric meditation while holding a human skull in her hands (Pic Link)! Jade Sol Luna also figures prominently on Joan Radha Bridges’ Shadow of the Guru website and associated YouTube trailer. See for yourself:

These are the type of people that “Professor” Barry Pittard endorses, promotes and associates himself with! Shadows of the Guru Buster Mary Garden

INFORMATION ABOUT MARY GARDEN:

Mary Garden was born in Whakatane, New Zealand in 1950. She went to Waikato University & Hamilton Teachers College in 1966 from where she graduated with a B.Ed and a Teachers College Diploma. After a year’s teaching and obtaining a Diploma in Teaching from the NZ Department of Education, she spent a year doing post-graduate studies at the University of Auckland. She abandoned her studies in 1973 to go to India where she spent seven years exploring Eastern mysticism and becoming sexually entangled with various gurus. In 1980 Mary Garden settled in Queensland, Australia, married, had two children and became an Australian citizen.

Mary Garden’s wrote a book entitled “The Serpent Rising: A journey of spiritual seduction” that was based on her alleged experiences with various gurus in India (i.e., Rajneesh Osho, Sathya Sai Baba and Balyogi Premvarni) during the 1970’s. Mary Garden also co-authored “Neo Tantra: Bhagwan Rajneesh on Sex Love Prayer and Transcendence” with Bernard Gunther (Refs: 01 – 02 – 03).

MARY GARDEN’S VIEWS ABOUT MEDITATION:

In an article entitled “Can Meditation Be Bad for You”, Mary Garden made the argument that people who practice meditation can frequently be seen to be depressed, neurotic, psychotic, suicidal, given to hallucinations, withdrawn, obsessive, mentally imbalanced, emotionally imbalanced, fearful and anxious. Mary Garden cited about a dozen references all warning about the severe side effects of meditation and how mystical experiences may actually be caused by seizures or a brain malfunction due to sensory deprivation and decreased blood flow to the parietal lobe.

Amusingly, Mary Garden confessed that she was an ardent practitioner of meditation in the 1970’s (meaning that her alleged experiences with various gurus during that time may have been distorted, exaggerated, imagined or hallucinated as the result of her rigid and mind-altering meditation practices):

Mary Garden: “I meditated a lot in the 1970s and thought I was superior to those who didn’t. Thankfully I didn’t have a breakdown (though sometimes I was surely ‘out of my mind’). I had all sorts of bizarre and strange experiences and in the early days often felt bliss and ecstasy. There were a few occasions where I felt as though I was ‘one with the universe’, and I once began hallucinating that the trees outside were vibrating with white light, convinced I could hear the sacred Om sound booming through the Himalayan night…When I finally gave up on seeking enlightenment in the late 1970s and returned to worldly life, I also gave up meditating–except for the occasional sitting still for a few minutes here and there, watching my breath in the Vipassana way.”

In the 1970’s Mary Garden apparently experienced the advanced, psychotic and hallucinatory manifestations of meditation when she claimed she saw trees “vibrating with white light”, heard the Om mantra “booming through the Himalayan night”, had an experience of cosmic consciousness, felt her forehead “blazing with light”, imagined turning into a demon (discussed later on this page), experienced strange symptoms of kundalini arousal and sometimes felt that she was “surely out of my mind”. Mary Garden also discussed her depression, paranoia, desperation, anger, anxiety and homicidal tendencies during that time.

Consequently, how is one to give much credence to Mary Garden’s alleged experiences with Rajneesh, Sathya Sai Baba and Balyogi Premvarni when she was “hallucinating” (her word) and mentally unstable (due to her meditation practices) at that time? Thank you, Mary Garden! Mary Garden also recalled her alleged experiences almost a decade after they happened (“The Serpent Rising” was first published in 1988).

MARY GARDEN’S SMEAR CAMPAIGN AGAINST LEO REBELLO:

Dr. Leo Rebello, N.D., Ph.D., D.Sc., F.F.Hom, MBA, is the Director of Natural Health Centre, Bombay. He has delivered over 10,000 lectures in 63 countries (including WHO, UNAIDS, UNESCO, UNDP, UNEP, UN-HABITAT conferences), has written 30 books and has been interviewed by the world media.

Leo Rebello alleged that the publisher for Mary Garden’s book “The Serpent Rising” contacted him for a book review. Since the request mentioned negative information about various gurus, Leo Rebello (an Anti-Guru advocate) contacted Mary Garden expressing an interest to review her book. As a result, Mary Garden sent Leo Rebello an autographed copy. After reading “The Serpent Rising”, Leo Rebello informed Mary Garden that he refused to review the book because he considered it “semi-pornographic”. As a result, Mary Garden teamed together with Ex-Devotees of Sathya Sai Baba and publicly smeared Leo Rebello:

Leo Rebello: “Now let us come to Mary Garden’s book The Serpent Rising, with which this nuisance started. Mary Garden of Australia has documented some of her forays into sex, drugs, and vagrancy in that book. Here are some nuggets: Sai Baba, she says, is a hermaphrodite & homosexual – page 44 and talks of surrendering to him – page 16. Then she runs away from him because he played footsie with her but did not call her to his bedroom. She is therefore disappointed and runs away to Rishikesh in the Himalayas. There she gets pregnant from Balyogi – page 203. She then aborts a 4-month fetus (a boy according to the nurse who puts the fetus in the dustbin) in a Delhi Nursing Home and feels it was a murder – page 211. Next she has encounters with Rajneesh in his dark chambers in Pune, etc. etc. The cover page shows Rajneesh working on her. Prior to meeting all these ‘unholy men’ like Satya Sai Baba, Balyogi Premvarni and Rajneesh (her words), Mary enjoyed drugs & sex with older men in Auckland, by the time she was 16 – page 5. Infact her sexual experiments started at a very young age when the neighbour took her and her sister in a hen house and made them do felatio. And such a pornographic book she has dedicated to her two children. The details about her husband are missing. I received the said book on 2nd December, 2003. After reading it I wrote to her that I was disappointed with her book and I will NOT be reviewing the same since it was semi-pornographic. It is a fact that Mary Garden, Robert Priddy and various Ex-Devotees herded together and collectively smeared Leo Rebello on the internet. Robert Priddy (an LSD advocate and a known defamer and libeler of others) publicly published Leo Rebello’s emails (including Mary Garden’s responses) on angeltowns.com/members/tanik (which was subsequently deleted for defamatory content). Although Leo Rebello’s emails were defamatory as well, he never dispersed his accusations publicly like Mary Garden and Robert Priddy did. Robert Priddy duplicated Rebello’s emails on his Anti-Sai websites and removed them only after Leo Rebello threatened him with a million-dollar legal suit for defamation.

MARY GARDEN – PROMISCUITY RISING:

“The Serpent Rising” was originally published as a work of fiction and Mary Garden even resorted to using the pseudonym “Helena Pearson”. In an interview with Kelly Worden and co-host Robert Humelbaugh, Mary Garden confessed that when she first wrote “The Serpent Rising”, she was still “confused and ambivalent about her experiences” in India. Putting these intriguing facts aside, it is undeniable that Mary Garden’s book “The Serpent Rising” is “semi-pornographic” in nature. The book revolves almost exclusively around Mary Garden’s sexual desires and sexual experiences.

Mary Garden’s strange sexual experiences started at the tender of six when she began to have recurring nightmares of demon-like creatures crawling over her and sliding their slippery hands up & down and in-between her legs. While still a child, Mary Garden claimed that a neighbor forced her and her younger sister into performing oral sex on him in a hen house. Although her younger sister remembered the incident vividly, Mary Garden claimed she had no recollection of the event. When Mary Garden was sixteen, she stated her first year at College was a “constant round of sex, alcohol, parties and sometimes experimenting with drugs” (including LSD). These stories are important to remember because they provide an illuminating backdrop to Mary Garden’s alleged encounters with Sathya Sai Baba, Balyogi Premvarni and Rajneesh.

MARY GARDEN LUSTED AFTER SATHYA SAI BABA:

Mary Garden blindly, instantly and gullibly believed (admittedly) that Sathya Sai Baba was God incarnate based solely on stories she heard about him and his miracles. Mary Garden decided to visit Sathya Sai Baba and spent a total of four months with him in India and he completely ignored her (not even looking at her). The only attention Mary Garden received from Sathya Sai Baba was when he touched her toes with his own while standing close to her. That’s it.

After four months of being constantly ignored, Mary Garden had a couple of “murky dreams” about Sathya Sai Baba when she was seriously ill and dehydrated from dysentery. The first “murky dream” that Mary Garden had was of floating, dancing and embracing Sathya Sai Baba in the sky while both of them were naked. Mary Garden had an “intense sexual arousal” and a “deep almost unbearable longing for an orgasm”. Just when she thought that Sathya Sai Baba “would enter her” with his penis, he would disappear (which happened several times) and she compared this erotic interaction to that of Radha and Krishna. Mary Garden claimed that in the dream she could see entire galaxies of stars sparkling in Sai Baba’s eyes, his skin felt like velvet, she was in “complete ecstasy” and her heart was “exploding with love”. When she awoke from the dream, she said: “For hours afterwards I lay there feeling as if I was bathing in the sweet aftermath of an explosive orgasm.”

In Mary Garden’s second “murky dream” of Sathya Sai Baba, she claimed the Guru was floating six inches off the ground and he had a “gigantic long penis, resembling the head and neck of an ancient dinosaur”. The “monstrous penis” approached the crowd and circulated among the people, nudging and caressing them. When Mary Garden awoke from this dream, she was sweating profusely due to her illness. Strangely, this dream happens to be the only one that Mary Garden discusses in interviews when she speaks against Sathya Sai Baba (no mention is made to her sexual dream in which she desired coitus with the guru). Disturbingly, Mary Garden subsequently changed the details of this dream and now claims that Sathya Sai Baba’s “monstrous penis” (instead of “nudging and caressing” people) actually wrapped itself around student’s necks and strangled them!

Flip-flopping, Mary Garden blindly, instantly and gullibly believed (admittedly) that Sathya Sai Baba was a fraud, a homosexual, a hermaphrodite, a sexual abuser and the Devil incarnate based solely on critical comments made to her by a woman named Joanna (who operated a restaurant called “Jo-Jo’s” in Bangalore). Because of Joanna’s critical comments, Mary Garden left Sathya Sai Baba and ran away to the Himalayas.

Mary Garden is currently a critic of Sathya Sai Baba and is closely allied with Ex Devotees (whose Anti-Sai websites she constantly references in interviews). Mary Garden’s defection from Sathya Sai Baba was based solely on rumors and gossip (which originated from Tal Brooke) that she never independently verified or confirmed for herself in any manner whatsoever.

Mary Garden has adamantly refused to say one word about Sai Baba critics Sanjay Dadlani, Tony O’Clery, Robert Priddy, Basava Premanand, Conny Larsson, Reineir Van Der Sandt, Barbara Dent, UsedByBaba and Alan Kazlev’s falsified and fraudulent sexual abuse allegations against Gerald Joe Moreno (a Pro-Sai Activist). MARY GARDEN LUSTED AFTER BALYOGI PREMVARNI:

Mary Garden’s alleged involvement with Balyogi Premvarni is perhaps the most disturbing (and lengthy) section in “The Serpent Rising”. A chronological summary goes like this:

1. When Mary Garden first visited Balyogi Premvarni, she was smitten by his “extraordinary beauty”, “couldn’t stop looking at him”, was “completely mesmerized” by him and was “overcome by his power and his beauty”.
2. Balyogi Premvarni allegedly kissed and had sex with Mary Garden under the pretext of awakening her kundalini and she was awed by the softness of his skin and the fluidity of his movements. After sex with the yogi, Mary Garden felt her heart opening and being flooded with love. Mary Garden claimed that she did, in fact, experience signs and symptoms of kundalini arousal during and after sex with the yogi, which included: “dizziness”, feeling a “a fiery liquid moving at the base of the spine, at the tailbone, and rising upwards to the top of the head”, being “energized” after sex, her mind becoming “still and peaceful”, feeling her forehead “blazing with light”, envisioned herself (as in the case of Sai Baba) as Radha and the yogi as Krishna and always felt in an “orgasmic state” after sex.
3. Mary Garden hoped the yogi would become a householder so she could marry him.
4. As in the case of Sai Baba, Mary Garden felt that Balyogi Premvarni might be a madman or a demon and decided to run away.
5. Mary Garden changed her mind about running away and decided to stay with Balyogi Premvarni.
6. Mary Garden had her mother wire her some money and decided to leave Balyogi Premvarni, informed him or her plans and left. Although she left the yogi’s ashram for good she left her passport, birth certificate and other references at the yogi’s ashram (how she was going to get her money or leave the country without a passport remains a mystery).
7. Mary Garden returned to the yogi’s ashram to pick up her passport, birth certificate and references and angrily left the ashram again.
8. While in Delhi, a devotee of Balyogi Premvarni found Mary Garden after being instructed by the yogi where to find her and asked her to return.
9. Mary Garden returned to Balyogi Premvarni’s ashram and had an experience of cosmic consciousness, which the yogi allegedly bestowed on her. Mary garden resumed having sex with the yogi and continued to have symptoms of kundalini awakening.
10. Balyogi Premvarni predicted that Mary Garden would leave him, which she adamantly denied would ever happen.
11. Mary Garden became pregnant with Balyogi Premvarni’s baby and had an abortion. The attendant told Mary Garden “it’s a boy, you slut” as she tossed the fetus into a metal bucket.
12. Mary Garden began to have intense feelings of hate and anger and said: “I sometimes expected to see horns sticking up out of my head and my upper eye-teeth elongated and hanging over my bottom lip. I would feel a peculiar sensation in these two teeth and I’d sense them growing and protruding, though they never did.” As in the case of Sai Baba, Mary Garden again began to see Balyogi Premvarni as evil and demonic.
13. Balyogi Premvarni had a new female devotee and Mary Garden was jealous and infuriated. Mary Garden said: “My lotus flowers were no longer in bloom. I burned some of the poems I had written for Swamiji. I contemplated burning down the ashram or even killing Swamiji.”
14. Mary Garden ran away from Balyogi Premvarni again.
15. Despite all this trauma, Mary Garden continued to write letters to Balyogi Premvarni.
16. Mary Garden decided to return once again to visit Balyogi Premvarni.
17. Mary Garden finally left Balyogi Premvarni, this time for good.

Consequently, Mary Garden’s alleged involvement with Balyogi Premvarni was one of infatuation, lust, sex and desire. Mary Garden found Balyogi Premvarni to be sexually attractive, obviously desired to have sex with him, found sex with him to be fulfilling, wished he would become a householder so she could marry him, became jealous and infuriated when he acquired another female devotee and entertained thoughts of homicide and violence to revenge what she perceived to be a betrayal. Mary Garden conceded that when she wrote “The Serpent Rising”, she was still “confused and ambivalent” about her experiences in India and one could certainly reason that her book was an act of revenge against her ex-lover who dumped her for someone else.

MARY GARDEN AND SEX-GURU BHAGWAN RAJNEESH:

After Mary Graden’s disastrous relationship with Balyogi Premvarni, she returned to Australia to teach for six months before returning to India to join the Rajneesh cult. Mysteriously, Mary Garden did not go into depth about her involvement with Rajneesh and the copious amounts of sex that must have surely transpired during her year-long stay at his ashram in Poona (where she was initiated as a sannyasin under the name “Ma Prem Sagara”). The book cover to “The Serpent Rising” shows Mary Garden receiving a personal blessing from Rajneesh (meaning that she was no novitiate, but that she was heavily involved in the cult and their unrestrained practices of madman screaming, uncontrollable laughing, flailing dances, spaced-out meditations and wanton sex):

Mary Garden even helped Bernard Gunther with the compilation of his book for Rajneesh entitled “Neo Tantra: Bhagwan Rajneesh on Sex Love Prayer and Transcendence”.

MARY GARDEN “THE SERPENT RISING” – IN CONCLUSION:

In conclusion, Mary Garden’s book “The Serpent Rising” is more believable as a work of fiction. Mary Garden’s motives, confusion and ambivalence behind her book casts a serious shadow of doubt on her credibility, reliability and accuracy as an author. Mary Garden struggled (and still struggles) very hard to portray herself as a “victim” of cults and blamed various gurus for her naiveté and sexual exploits under the guise of spirituality. Since Mary Garden explicitly stated she was not hurt or damaged by her encounter with Sathya Sai Baba, one is left to wonder why she speaks against him the most. It is suspected Mary Garden does this because it is far easier for her to talk about other’s alleged sexual improprieties rather than her own.

As a highlight to Mary Garden’s strange obession with sex, she authored a poetry book in 1992 entitled “Coming Together: a Journey through Passion”, which was written “about the beauty and power of sex without using the language of guilt of hostility”. A reviewer of the book said that some of the poems and cartoons (of a naked couple) in the book may “shock” and “offend” readers. Taking into consideration Mary Garden’s rather risque life history, why should anyone be surprised?

She claimed to have been “overtly psychic since approximately age eleven”. Kyra Kitts claimed that H. H. Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche began appearing to her in inner visions and spoke to her in Tibetan. She also claimed that Sathya Sai Baba appeared to her in a semi-awake/semi-asleep vision that radically changed her life. When she visited Sai Baba in India, she was tormented with “bizarre sexual thoughts”, even in Baba’s presence. Kyra Kitts claimed that while walking by the meditation bench behind the mandir, she psychically perceived Sathya Sai Baba “in his room masturbating, looking out his window, and laughing at the crowd”. Kyra Kitts said that Sathya Sai Baba looked like a “Fijian gorilla” and referred to the guru as “Sai Bob, sex cowboy”. Kyra Kitts has/had numerous, chronic, physical ailments that affected her mentally (admittedly) for many years. Kyra Kitts claimed that while walking by the meditation bench behind the mandir, she psychically perceived Sathya Sai Baba “in his room masturbating, looking out his window, and laughing at the crowd”. Funny enough, Robert Priddy himself once held belief in elves, fairies, leprechauns, gnomes, trolls, water spirits, animal and plant spirits or ‘devas’ , angels, invisible helpers, shaman ’spirits’, ‘allies’, UFOs, extra-terrestrials, possessive demons, Satan, Pan-figures and other demi-gods (and even wrote an article about it: Ref). Priddy attempted to do damage control when confronted about his “lunatic fringe” beliefs and gave a tongue-in-cheek denial (Reference).

To Date: Robert Priddy adamantly refuses to say one word about his promotion and endorsement of these “lunatic fringe” (Priddy’s favorite slur) individuals.

Robert Priddy believes that Sathya Sai Baba possesses genuine paranormal powers because the Guru cured him of a debilitating and chronic neck and spinal problem that no one else could cure and whose symptoms no doctor could alleviate. Robert Priddy claimed that Sathya Sai Baba cured him through a series of “dream-operations” that resulted in a literal and physical transformation of his spine, which was supported by x-rays and the testimony of Mr. Kylie (“an osteopath and master of various other disciplines”).

Robert Priddy also claimed that Sathya Sai Baba freed his mother from chronic pain and that a small speck of Sathya Sai Baba’s vibuthi instantaneously cured his paralyzed cat when it suffered from what appeared to be a stroke.

Robert Priddy tries to make the case that Sathya Sai Baba:

• Is both a fraud and genuine.
• Both can materialize objects and fakes materializations.
• Both can cure diseases but really can’t cure diseases.

Trying to pass himself off as an intellectual who currently holds rationalistic beliefs, Robert Priddy miserably fails to explain away the enigma of Sathya Sai Baba. Instead, Robert Priddy appears very confused, conflicted and non-intelligent and ends up sticking his foot further into his mouth with his never-ending and very amusing equivocations.

In Priddy’s “Sathya Sai Baba’s ‘channelers’ and mediums – & Shivaratri fraud” article, he talked about an unsourced story about an unnamed Japanese man who made unusual claims about a ring that Baba gave to him. Funny enough, when Priddy was a brainwashed devotee of Sathya Sai Baba (although he vehemently denied being brainwashed in his book “Source Of The Dream” while a Sai Devotee), he similarly attributed paranormal phenomena to the “green stone” ring that Baba gave to him. About his green stone ring, Priddy said:

“As with other such rings, silhouettes of Sai Baba can be seen in it, sometimes with great clarity, his attitude varying much and very subtly with the lighting conditions. Shading it with a hand even often gives the appearance of the orange robe below the black hair, all set in a translucent green light! At times various types of crosses appear in it and also lotuses and Shivalingams.” (Source of the Dream, “Marching Happy”, page 140)

If the Japanese man belongs to the “lunatic fringe” for making paranormal claims about his Baba ring, then Robert Priddy belongs to the same “lunatic fringe” because he made paranormal claims about his Baba ring as well.

New Delhi, 11 April (Asiantribune.com): Devotees of Sri Sathya Sai Baba are delighted to have an opportunity for his darshan in the Capital after a gap of over a decade.

On Saturday, Bhagawan came out at around 11 a.m granting ten minutes darshan at the main stage in the Sri Sathya Sai International Centre, Delhi. Blessing the concourse, Bhagawan moved on to the stage of the Primary School within the compound wherein tiny tots from the school had a twenty minute cultural programme emphasising the greater importance of Unity of Religions.

After the programme, Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba moved around the complex, sanctifying and blessing various facilities including the computer lab etc. Many devotees and sevadals got to have the blessing of closer darshan and paadanamaskaars. Sunil Bharti Mittal, Indian Telecom Mogul, Chairman and Managing Director of Bharti Group was also present seeking Divine Darshan.

Delhi Visit: Shimla, April 9 (IANS) Renowned spiritual guru Sri Sathya Sai Baba of Puttaparthi will visit the hill station next week Monday to deliver sermons to his disciples.

Shimla, April 9 (IANS): Renowned spiritual guru Sri Sathya Sai Baba of Puttaparthi will visit the hill station next week Monday to deliver sermons to his disciples.

“Sri Sathya Sai Baba is reaching Shimla April 12 from Delhi. He will stay in a five-storied temple at Pujarali for a few days to deliver address and bless his devotees,” a spokesperson for the Sri Sathya Sai Trust Himachal Pradesh said.

Pujarali is located on the outskirts of Shimla.

This would be the third visit of Sri Sathya Sai Baba in Shimla. Earlier, he visited the town in 1973 and 1975.

The spiritual guru has a large following across the world.

As for Me, I have no “near” and “far” – all are near to me except those who keep afar. Even they are close to Me, if only they dedicate themselves to God, under whatever Name and Form.

Sathya Sai Baba: I wish to emphasise that purity of the heart, the mind and the consciousness is more important for progress than even Meditation and Prayer. Purity alone can convince you of the Divine within you of the Kshetrajna immanent in the Kshetra. Love all, adore all and serve all. That is the Sadhana of worship, to win purity and earn Grace.

Sathya Sai Baba: Many believe that a pilgrimage to holy places is conductive to spiritual progress. They journey to Tirupathi, Rameswaram, Badrinath or Amarnath and pray for the removal of their mundane troubles. They vow to remove their hair if, through Divine intervention, they win a prize in the State Lotteries, as if God is in need of hair. This trick of bargaining is only cheating oneself in an attempt to cheat God. Do not pray to God for wealth or fame, positions of power or for the fruits of your actions. The genuine seeker will pray for nothing else but God.

Nature is resplendent with many colors. When you wear blue colored glasses you only see the color you have worn, isn’t it? If the world appears to you as filled with differences, it is entirely due to your fault. If all appear as one, that too, is due to your love only. For both of these, the feeling in you is the cause. It is only because one has faults within oneself, one sees the world as faulty. The Lord always looks for goodness, not for faults and sins. He only sees the righteousness!
